　　Max likes to ride his bike. He always goes along the path. One day， he sees something moving in the grass.

　　马克斯喜欢骑自行车。他总是沿着这条路走。一天，他看到草地上有什么东西在动。

　　Max gets off his bike. He looks in the grass. He sees a little green frog. Max puts out his hands to get it. But the little frog jumps away.

　　马克斯从自行车上下来。他往草地里看了看。他看到一只绿色的小青蛙。于是马克斯伸手去抓。但是小青蛙跳开了。

　　“I will find the frog before Granddad cuts the grass，” says Max. Then Max sees the little frog. It jumps into the long grass. “I can get the frog if I move slowly，” says Max.

　　“我会在爷爷割草之前找到青蛙，”马克斯说。然后马克斯看到了小青蛙。它跳进了长草里。马克斯说：“如果我走得慢一点，我就能抓住那只青蛙。”

　　Max gets the frog. “Granddad！” shouts Max. “Come and see my frog！” Granddad comes out of the shed. “Where is it from？” asks Max. “Maybe it comes from the big pond in the park，” says Granddad.

　　“We can make a little pond here，” says Max. “It can stay with us.” “No， Max，” says Granddad. “The big cat from next door will get the frog. It won’t be safe here.”

　　马克斯得到了青蛙。“爷爷！“马克斯喊道。“来看看我的青蛙！”爷爷从棚子里出来了。“从哪儿来的？””麦克斯问道。“也许它来自公园里的大池塘，”爷爷说。

　　“我们可以在这里建一个小池塘，”马克斯说。“它可以留在我们身边。“不行，马克斯，”爷爷说。“隔壁的大猫会逮住青蛙。这里不安全。”

　　“Let’s take it back to the park，” says Max. “Go and find your friends again， little frog，” says Max.

　　“我们把它带回公园吧，”马克斯说。“去找你的朋友吧，小青蛙，”马克斯说。
