　　A fox was once very hungry and went in search of some food.

　　从前有只狐狸，他肚子饿了，想找点吃的。

　　He searched everywhere， but he couldn‘t find anything that he could eat.

　　他四处寻找，但是找不到任何吃的。

　　Finally， with his stomach rumbling， he came upon a farmer’s wall.

　　终于，饿得肚子咕咕叫的狐狸，来到了农民家的墙外。

　　On top of the wall were the biggest， juiciest grapes the fox had ever seen.

　　墙头上长了一株葡萄，狐狸从来没见过这么大这么多汁的葡萄。

　　The rich purple color told the fox that they were ready to be eaten.

　　紫色的葡萄高高挂着，狐狸知道葡萄已经熟了。

　　The fox jumped high in the air to catch the grapes in his mouth， but he missed.

　　狐狸高高跳起，想要咬住葡萄，但是没咬到。

　　He tried again and missed again.

　　他又试了一次，还是失败了。

　　He tried a few more times but missed each time.

　　他试了一次又一次，每一次都失败了。

　　Finally， the fox decided to go home all the while muttering， ‘I’m sure the grapes were sour anyway‘.

　　最后，狐狸决定还是回家了，他边走边说“反正这葡萄一定很酸。”
